The 72 Hour Cabin

Fall asleep under the stars and wake up to the sunrise in the comfort of a glass cabin in the stunning nature of Dalsland. A 72 hour stay in a glass cabin is a unique way to experience the Swedish ‘close-to-nature’ lifestyle.

The 72 Hour Cabin started as a case study where five people with some of the world’s most stressful jobs where invited to spend 72 hours in Swedish nature, in order to investigate what effect it would have on their stress levels. They spent their days hiking, kayaking and fishing on Henriksholm island in West Sweden. After 3 days they all showed a significant decrease in stress levels and an increase in well-being and creativity. Since then, more glass cabins have been added in different places of Dalsland and you can now book your own forest retreat. All cabin stays include breakfast, lunch and dinner – and most importantly a marvelous scenery. You can also try rowing in the nearby lakes, hiking in the forest or go horseback riding depending on where you stay. This experience is all about finding greatness in the little moments and deeply reconnecting with nature.
