Our food and food experiences have been racking up accolades and column inches in international food and travel magazines and on foodie blogs.
The reason is simple – a few years ago we decided that we wanted to become a new culinary destination – by improving the quality of our food and food travel experiences across the board - for you.
The revolution is all about good food and world-class food experiences - the combination of our nature, the flavours of our produce and some of the purest raw ingredients in the world.
Take our west coast oysters for example. In most parts of the world oysters are picked when they are between 1 and 3 years old and they are grown on an oyster farm. On our west coast the native oysters grow on a natural oyster bank and are hand-picked when they are between 5 and 10 year's old and are packed with taste. That's what we are talking about. It's about our international prize-winning chefs too - like many Swedes they also forage the local woodlands for coveted chanterelles and berries and source the best local produce they can.
