Gustavsberg Contemporary Craft Art

Sweden’s leading gallery for contemporary craft art is an innovative meeting point with exploratory exhibitions, which are well worth a detour from Stockholm.

Sweden’s only public art gallery specializing in contemporary craft art is located in Gustavsberg, a small coastal town outside of Stockholm, in what used to be a part of the former porcelain factory Gustavsberg. The exhibition schedule features crafts in all types of materials, displaying current work by internationally recognized craft artists as well as the avant-garde of the younger generation. The Gustavsberg Porcelain Museum is just across the street.
