18–21 May: Sweden’s quiet food evolution in Middle Sweden

Only a few hours north of Stockholm, there is a region redefining Nordic gastronomy. Rooted in nature yet forward-looking, this is where forest, sea and field meet on the same plate – from wild fish smoked by the coast to craft chocolate, farm-aged cheese and modern twists on heritage grains.

This small international press group takes you on a culinary journey through the regions of Gästrikland and Hälsingland’s most inventive producers, chefs and storytellers – from coastal smokehouses and forest-foraged flavours to bold new food artisans.

Join us for:

  • Högbo Brukshotell & Spa - the taste experience is a craft. With ingredients from their farms, gardens, and the generous pantry nature offers.
  • Järvsö Lanthandel – prepare a farm-to-table meal and experience Järvsö´s slow food movement firsthand, the soul of Järvsö.
  • hands-on encounters, local flavours with a global mindset, and a fresh take on Swedish gastronomy that’s quietly setting the standard.

Spots are limited to 6 international journalists for this trip, allowing only one representative per media outlet.
