Freshly baked cinnamon buns
Cinnamon buns are immensely popular in Sweden. You’ll find them in any Swedish bakery or café you step into. The buns are made of wheat flour, and are filled with cinnamon, sugar and butter.

The Swedish kitchen includes a range of tasty treats – from the cinnamon bun to the ‘semla’. It’s also recognized for traditional dishes like the famous Swedish meatballs and the infamous fermented herring, called ‘surströmming’.
